Is there a packing charge?
Well, to start with, it takes about 1 hour and $10 to $25.00
worth or material to pack
one average size doll or display case!
In a lot of cases I wave the packing charge depending on the order.
[NOTE] - Picture distortion due to resizing.
The first step in the packing process is to take a 4' by 8' sheet of 1" Styrofoam (Cost $16.00) and cut 6 pieces to fit all sides of the doll case. Then cut 2 pieces to fit inside of the two box's required (Cost $4.00 each.) Now I assemble two packing cartons and place the Styrofoam inserts inside of each box for added protection. Now, all of the cut Styrofoam pieces are placed around the doll case (Including inserts in the top and bottom) and taped in place. Then the Styrofoam packed doll case is placed inside of one box, and another box is placed over the top and taped securely shut for shipping.
I have had only
2 doll cases damaged during shipment
in the last 600 shipped, however all cases are insured for full value for
shipping.

use FedEx for most shipping
including oversized cases, faster and safer.

Why are you not charging me more for packing? 
As stated on the "About Me" page of my web site, I am retired and my wife
recently passed away from cancer. I build
these doll and display cases to keep busy and earn a little to add to our small fixed income, or worse just about break even! I absorb some
of the packing costs in the original cost of the doll or display case. At least 90% of my
customers say the case was much better than expected and I have many repeat customers.
Some
people think the cost of shipping and packing (sometimes half the cost of the case) is high, but the overall
price is usually much less and better quality than other case builders charge for the case itself
before shipping charges.
Your dolls are

and should be protected with
